What Is i-ACTIV AWD?

In 2013, the i-ACTIV all-wheel-drive technology was integrated into the Mazda CX-5 model. This was the first vehicle of its kind, given that the CX-5 also had the new SKYACTIV technology. After seeing some success on the market, the technology was incorporated into the CX-3 and CX-9 models as well. Mazda CX-3

Powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, this compact SUV generates 148 hp and 146 lb-ft of torque. It comes standard with SKYACTIV Technology, and you can choose between a regular FWD system or the i-ACTIV AWD system.
