Whether you want a powerful truck or a roomy SUV, choosing a GMC is a great decision that gives you plenty of options for whatever you need. Although the GMC lineup might not be quite as broad as what some other manufacturers offer, it is instead deeper and more focused on the best trucks and SUVs on the market. Finding the right dealership, however, takes more than simply searching “GMC dealer near me” on your phone and picking the first one that comes up.
The right GMC dealership for you is the one that has all the vehicles you need to choose from, so you can find exactly what is best for you. You should look for a large inventory of both new and used vehicles, so you have even more options to fit just about any budget. When considering used models, choose a GMC dealer near you that also has a selection of Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) models available so you can find the best used option on the market.
Here at Colonial Motor Mart in Indiana, PA, we have a tremendous selection of new and used GMCs, including CPO models, for you to choose from. We make financing as simple as possible, and we work with you to ensure you get the perfect vehicle for your needs and financing that fits into your lifestyle. Call or visit us at Colonial Motor Mart and let us help you find the right vehicle to ensure you drive away completely happy.
When you start looking for the right GMC dealer near you, one of the first things you should be looking at is the selection of new vehicles they have to offer. The more models you find, the better your ability to pick the vehicle with the features and options that are just right for you. You do not necessarily need to find a massive dealership with hundreds of GMC vehicles available, but there should be dozens of choices for you to make.
Here at Colonial Motor Mart, we have many different GMC vehicles available to you every single day, so you can find exactly what you need. We have fantastic GMC trucks available, including the Canyon and Sierra, as well as select Sierra heavy-duty models if you need a hard-working pickup. Our selection of GMC SUVs gives you a lot of freedom in choosing just the right SUV, no matter what size you are looking for or how many passengers you have. With the right features and additional options, you can customize your GMC here at Colonial Motor Mart to get a vehicle that checks all of your boxes.
The first of four GMC trucks for sale in 2020 is the GMC Canyon, which is a midsize option for our customers that do not need a full-size or heavy-duty pickup. This makes it a great choice if you are looking for something a bit smaller or if you need the functionality of a truck without having the space for a massive model. Three different configurations are available for the Canyon: an extended cab with a short box, a larger crew cab with a short box, or the crew cab with a long box. When properly configured, the Canyon offers up to 7,700 lbs of towing.
Three different engines are available for the 2020 GMC Canyon, which gives you a lot of freedom to get just the right amount of power and performance for what you need. These are restricted somewhat based on trim level, but you still get a lot of freedom. The standard engine is a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Then there is an available 3.6L V6 engine with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and finally a 2.8L Duramax Turbo-Diesel 4-cylinder engine with a 6-speed automatic.
Five different trim levels are available on the GMC Canyon, which is not uncommon for GMC trucks. The standard Canyon comes with a 7-inch infotainment screen, a 4-way power driver’s seat, and 16-inch wheels. The SLE trim features an 8-inch infotainment display, 6-way power driver’s seat, and 17-inch wheels. If you upgrade to the SLT trim, then you get the same infotainment screen, with heated, leather-appointed seats, a wireless charging pad, and 18-inch wheels for improved performance.
There is also an All-Terrain trim available if you are interested in an off-road pickup. This can be chosen with either a cloth interior or a leather-appointed interior, depending on your preference. It also features an off-road suspension, hill descent control, and a transfer shield case. The incredible Denali trim for the 2020 Canyon includes a Bose 7-speaker premium sound system, leather-appointed seats and details, and 20-inch wheels for excellent performance.
The 2020 GMC Sierra 1500 is the first of the full-size GMC trucks you will find for sale this year, and a great option if you do not need all the power of a heavy-duty model. There are four different configurations available for the 1500: a regular cab with a long box, a double cab with a standard box, and a crew cab with either a short or a standard box. When properly configured, with the right engine and trailering package, the Sierra 1500 offers up to 12,200 lbs of towing capacity and excellent maximum payload.
Five different powertrains are offered on the 2020 GMC Sierra 1500, which gives you a tremendous degree of freedom to get the amount of power you need. It starts with a 4.3L V6 engine that comes paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, and there is an available 5.3L V8 engine also with a 6-speed automatic. There is also a 2.7L Turbo engine available, which comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission, and higher trims offer the 5.3L V8 engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Finally, there is a 3.0L Duramax Turbo-Diesel I-6 engine available, which comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
You have six different trims to choose from with the 2020 Sierra 1500, the most of any GMC trucks, starting with the standard model that has a 7-inch infotainment display and 4-way manual front seats. The available SLE trim has an 8-inch infotainment display, a 4-inch driver information center, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. There is also an Elevation trim available, which gives you 20-inch wheels, keyless open and start, and it comes with the 2.7L Turbo engine.
The available SLT trim features heated, 10-way power front seats, along with driver memory in the driver’s seat, the 4-inch driver information center, and dual-zone climate control. If you are interested in an off-road model, then consider the AT4 trim, which includes a 2-inch factory-installed suspension lift, an off-road suspension, Rancho shocks, and skid plates. Finally, there is the luxurious Denali trim, which features leather-appointed seating and ash-wood details in the interior, a Bose Premium sound system, and an 8-inch driver information display.
There are two full-size heavy-duty GMC trucks available, starting with the Sierra 2500HD, which has five different configurations available. You can choose between a regular cab and long bed, a double cab with either a standard or a long bed, or a crew cab with either a standard or long bed. When properly equipped, you can get up to 18,510 lbs of towing capacity with the 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD or up to 3,979 lbs of payload.
While only two engines are available on the Sierra 2500HD, they are both excellent options that should cover just about any need. The standard engine is a 6.6L V8 with direct injection and variable valve timing, which offers up to 401 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque. There is also an available 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel V8 engine that provides up to 445 hp and 910 lb-ft of torque, which comes with an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission for incredible power and breathtaking performance.
Five trims are available on the 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD, lacking the Elevation trim of the Sierra 1500. The standard model features a 7-inch infotainment system, a 6-speaker sound system, 4-way manual front seats, 3-inch driver information screen, and 17-inch wheels. If you upgrade to the SLE trim, then you get an 8-inch infotainment display, a 4-inch driver information screen, and single-zone climate control. The SLT trim, on the other hand, has 10-way power adjustable front seats, dual-zone climate control, and 18-inch wheels.
Much like with the GMC Sierra 1500, the AT4 trim of the 2020 GMC Sierra 2500HD is designed for going off-road. It features an off-road suspension, 18-inch all-terrain tires with 20-inch all-terrain tires available, skid plates, and the ProGrade Trailering System with an in-vehicle trailering app. Of course, you can also choose the incredibly luxurious Denali trim for the 2500HD, which includes an 8-inch infotainment screen with Navigation, perforated and heated leather-appointed seats, a Bose 7-speaker premium sound system, an 8-inch driver information display, and 20-inch wheels with all-terrain tires.
The second of the two full-size, heavy-duty GMC trucks is the incredibly powerful 2020 GMC Sierra 3500HD. This beast has four different configurations available: a regular cab with a long bed, a double cab with a long bed, and a crew cab with either a standard or a long bed. You can also choose a dual rear-wheel setup if you go with the crew cab and long bed configuration for exceptional towing and payload capacities. When properly configured, the 3500HD offers up to 35,500 lbs of gooseneck or fifth-wheel towing or up to 7,442 lbs of maximum payload.
You can choose from the same two engines on the 3500HD as with the 2500HD: either a 6.6L V8 gas engine or a 6.6L Turbo-Diesel V8, which comes with an Allison 10-speed automatic transmission. In general, the 3500HD and the 2500HD are quite similar in terms of their overall options, including their different trim levels.
The standard 3500HD has the same features as the standard 2500HD, but with more power thanks to its stronger design. The same trims are available on the 3500HD as the 2500HD with the same features in general: the standard Sierra, the SLE, the SLT, the AT4, and the luxurious Denali. Dual rear-wheel configurations are available for every trim except for the AT4, as it has an off-road focus.
Of course, a brand new vehicle is not always the right choice for all of our customers, which is why you should consider used models when looking for the GMC dealer near you that is best for your needs. A large inventory of used vehicles is, perhaps, even more important than a big inventory of brand new models. Since you do not have the same freedom to customize your vehicle when choosing a used one over brand new, a larger inventory gives you more options to pick from. Within that selection, you want to be sure there is also a focus on quality so you can get the best used model possible.
With our massive selection of hundreds of used vehicles for you to choose from, we are the GMC dealer near you that can meet your needs. Whether you know you want a used GMC for sure, or you are interested in some other models too, we have a terrific inventory of pre-owned models to check out and choose from. Our knowledgeable, friendly salespeople are here to answer all of your questions and make sure you get exactly the right vehicle for what you need.
Although there are many advantages to choosing a used vehicle, one of the biggest concerns we hear from our customers is a fear about the unknown. With a pre-owned vehicle, you do not get the peace of mind that comes from knowing you are its first owner. A Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, however, helps offset that with greater manufacturer protection that lets you buy with confidence.
When you choose a GMC CPO vehicle, you know that it cannot be older than six years old and cannot have more than 75,000 miles on it. These vehicles must also pass a CARFAX vehicle history report and then go through a 172-point inspection to ensure they are in the best condition possible. With a CPO vehicle from GMC, which you will only find at a GMC dealer near you, you get a 6-year or 100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty and a 12-month or 12,000-mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty. You also get two included maintenance visits to keep your vehicle running beautifully, and you have three days or 150 miles from purchase to change your mind and exchange your CPO GMC for a different model that better meets your needs.
Here at Colonial Motor Mart, we are the right GMC dealer near you because we know how it feels to be a customer, and we understand the concerns you have. For many of our customers, financing is a major source of stress during the car-buying process, so we do everything we can do alleviate that. From our simple online tools that let you get started with financing before you ever set foot on our lot, to our experienced financing professionals that are here to work with you every step of the way. We take the worry and uncertainty out of the process so you can focus on finding the perfect vehicle for your needs.
At some dealerships, once you sign on the dotted line and drive away, they are done with you. Here at Colonial Motor Mart, however, we believe that when you drive away happy, our relationship with you has only just begun. We are in the business of building long-term relationships with our customers to ensure they are happy for years to come.
One of the ways we do that is with our expert service center with factory-certified professionals here to help you. Whether you need routine maintenance, more elaborate service, or you simply have questions about your vehicle, we are here for you. Our service center is open at 8 AM every day, Monday through Saturday, so we can help you with anything you need. We also have a parts department here that can help you get anything you need for your vehicle, whether you want us to perform an installation for you or you know how to take care of it yourself.
GMC is constantly updating the technology in its vehicles to better adapt to your modern and ever-changing lifestyles. Here are a few pieces of integrated technology you can look forward to in new GMC vehicles from a GMC dealer near you:
GMC Marketplace is an in-vehicle application that lets you interact with many of your favorite merchants through the GMC Infotainment System. This offering is available in most GMC trucks and SUVs from the 2017 model to now. You can order takeout from Applebee’s, IHOP, and Domino’s. You can activate “pump and pay” for fuel at participating Shell, Exxon, and Mobil gas stations. You can discover nearby restaurants with Yelp and even book a reservation as well. Use ParkWhiz to find and pay for parking in cities across the country. Use Priceline to find and book hotel rooms while using GMC owner discounts.
Overall, you can use GMC Marketplace to discover offers from different merchants that are in your nearby area. It’s also easy to set up for use in your applicable GMC vehicle. Just enter your infotainment system and swipe until you find the “Marketplace” app icon. You can then follow the on-screen instructions to get started. Once you’re all set up, just browse the different brands and offers within the app and start saving time and money.
You can now use your Amazon Alexa-enabled device, including Amazon Echo or Echo Dot, with your model year 2011 or newer GMC vehicle. You will need an eligible OnStar or Connected Services plan for Amazon Alexa to function with your vehicle.
To activate your MyGMC skill for Alexa, you’ll need to find the “MyGMC” skill in your Amazon Alexa online account or in the Amazon Alexa mobile app. You then link the skill to your GMC account.
After activating the Alexa skill, you can use multiple Alexa prompts with your vehicle:
Apart from Alexa, you can also use Amazon Key In-Car Delivery to have Amazon packages delivered straight to your GMC vehicle. All you need is a connected service plan, an Amazon Prime account, the Amazon Key app on your smartphone, an eligible delivery location within the In-Car Delivery areas, and your vehicle needs to be parked in an unobscured, publicly-accessible, street-level parking spot.
This in-car delivery service works with millions of Amazon items.
If you’re anywhere in Pittsburgh, it’s a relatively short journey by car to get to our dealership. We’re located in Indiana, PA, just to the northeast of the Steel City.
From northern Pittsburgh — anywhere from Perry North to North Shore — you can take a couple of different routes to get to our dealership. The most direct route will be taking the I-279 S via the ramp to Downtown. You’ll then use the left lane (after only a mile or two) to merge onto I-376 E toward Monroeville). After about 15 miles, you’ll continue onto US-22 E. Then, it’s about 30 miles until you use the right lane to take the US-119 N/Indiana ramp. Turn right onto US-119 N/Indiana Hwy and stay on this for about 10 miles. Take the Wayne Ave exit, and you’re about 4 miles from the dealership. Stay straight to continue onto Wayne Ave, turn left on S 6th St, then turn right at the 3rd cross street onto Philadelphia St. In less than ½ a mile, turn left onto N 4th St, and the dealership will be on your right.
From western Pittsburgh — anywhere around Fairywood, Oakwood, or Crafton heights — you can use the same directions as from northern Pittsburgh. The only difference is, you won’t be using the I-279 S to merge onto I-376 E toward Monroeville. You’ll most likely take W Carson St and then merge onto I-376 E and use the same directions from there.
From southern Pittsburgh — from Lincoln Place to South Side — the directions will mostly be the same as from the other areas of Pittsburgh. From South Side, it’s a matter of crossing the river (maybe at 10th St Bridge) and merging onto I-376 E and using the same directions as above. From Lincoln Place, you'll also north until you can merge onto I-376 E. You’ll most likely take Mifflin Rd and PA 885-N for a few miles until you can reach the ramp to I-376 E and head toward Monroeville, following the same directions as above.
If you’d rather take an alternate route, you can take PA-28 N. You’ll merge onto PA-28 N in the Allegheny area and stay on it for about 37 miles. Then, take the exit onto PA-28 N/US-422 E toward Kittanning/Indiana. Stay on this for four miles and take the exit onto US-422 E. Continue on US-422 E for about 20 miles and then take the exit toward Philadelphia St. You’ll eventually turn left onto N 12th St, then right at the 2nd cross street onto Water St. From there, it’s a left onto N 4th St, and after about 0.3 miles, the dealership will be on your right.
